Welcome to my personal website. I am a scholar, analyst and consultant focusing on Asia-Europe political, economic and security relations and the EU-China-US strategic triangle. I am Senior Research Fellow at the Asia Institute-University of Bologna and Associate Fellow at the Istituto Affari Internazionali in Rome. I am also affiliated to the Wilson Center in Washington DC and the European University Institute in Florence.

I have authored various books, articles and policy papers, including the monograph; Remaking Global Order, which examines the evolution of China-Europe relations and its implications for East Asia and the United States. Since its publication, the book has become a standard reference on the topic.
